So here I am at home in Melbourne. The little one is tucked in bed for the night and my husband is in Sydney for work. What a perfect opportunity to get this initial post under way. I have been tinkering with the blog layout and design for a couple of days now, but it's time to get on with the real content!
My first blog, The Little Present Project, hasn't had much action of late as I have been working quite a bit whenever the little one is asleep. But contemplating the upcoming move to Adelaide had me thinking about a particular website and facebook feed, Little Melbourne, which I will miss once we've moved on from our time here in Victoria. Of course Adelaide doesn't have an equivalent, that I know of, so I thought perhaps I could it a go (with all that spare time I have!!). So the Little Present Project will probably go on the back burner while I get this one under way.
I will be taking ideas from Little Melbourne and Sydney for Under Fives, as the aim is the same; to provide an extensive range of activities and attractions for all the little ones. I hope to road test all of the suggestions myself, with Giselle in tow, but there may be instances where a trusted friend or relative is providing input.
Finally, I hope followers will send me ideas and suggestions for the blog, because at the end of the day Adelaide will be a new city to me with a toddler in tow. Enjoy.
